 SUMO SANTA in his full glory What is VOTE SANTA? Vote santa is a zany and crazy movement to spice up Christmas music and to lighten up politics! In 2004, I was REALLY BUMMED after Bush won the presidential election. I wrote a song called "SANTA CLAUS, COULD YOU TAKE AWAY PRESIDENT BUSH?' and started playing it all over San Diego as a form of therapy. It started to fly around the internet and was an instant hit. People from all over the country started sending me messages asking for copies all the way until June! This year I decided to write a few more political satire songs along with some humorous holiday dance tracks and some ballads. I put the whole thing together on one CD and the result is VOTE SANTA! NAUGHTY OR NICE! The promotion for this outrageous collection of Christmas music is handled exclusively by the infamous SUMO SANTA, an inflatable sumo wrestling MANIAC who travels the country, wrestling hundreds of people on the streets, spreading his simple message....LISTEN TO THIS GREAT MUSIC AND VOTE SANTA FOR PRESIDENT!!!! In Las Vegas he started a mob scene on the Vegas Strip and was kicked out of the WYNN casino. In San Bernardino people got out of their car to photograph him on their cell phone cameras. In Tijuana he was invited to sing at the largest venue in town. In San Diego, he's been to every club and was the star of the DECEMBER NIGHTS festival, where thousands of people asked to be photographed with him. On December 1st he crashed the most exclusive art party in San Diego, grabbed the microphone and won over the entire city with his strange Santa version of the hip hop classic "Push it." He dances, he grooves, he sings and he is FUN! His promotion campaign will culminate in a huge party at the TIKI bar in Pacific Beach, San Diego on December 22, 2005, where he will MAKE IT SNOW inside the bar at 9:30pm.
